We source directly from the community who wild harvest them and believe that supporting the community who have this wonderful gift from Mother Nature growing in their 'back yard' is important. No middle man. No farming. Just the wild grown SoapNuts from one community to another. It is the outer shell of the SoapNut which is rich in saponins - Natures Soap - which acts as a natural surfactant, reducing surface tension of your water to free dirt, grime and oils from the fabric.
